1. Seller and acceptance
Station Noir is a browser-based mystery puzzle game provided by RooksBiz. These terms govern your use of the game and your relationship with RooksBiz as the seller of access to its cases. By accessing or continuing to use Station Noir, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, stop using the service.
You must have the legal capacity to accept these terms. If you are under the age required to purchase digital content in your location, a parent or guardian must authorize the purchase.
2. Accounts and case access
Keep your account credentials confidential and provide accurate account information. You are responsible for activity under your account and must not share or sell account access.
The original three cases are free. Additional cases are offered as individual, one-time purchases at $1 USD per case, subject to the price and applicable taxes shown at checkout. A completed purchase permanently unlocks the selected case on the purchasing account for unlimited replays, subject to these terms and the continued availability of the service. There are no subscriptions or recurring charges.
Eligible cases can also be unlocked with 100 earned points. Points have no cash value, cannot be transferred or redeemed for money, and are not a purchase of currency. Rewarded ads depend on availability; closing an ad before its reward is granted does not earn the reward. We may reject duplicate or fraudulent rewards.
3. Payments and Paddle
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Payments, billing, taxes, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle’s Buyer Terms. You may request a refund within 30 days of your order date — see our Refund Policy for instructions, or contact Paddle directly at paddle.net. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.
4. Acceptable use
You must not use Station Noir unlawfully or to commit fraud, send spam, infringe intellectual property rights, or harass others. Do not introduce malware, probe or interfere with security, scrape the service without authorization, bypass payment or access controls, manipulate rewards or leaderboard records, or disrupt other players’ access.
5. Intellectual property and licence
RooksBiz and its licensors retain ownership of Station Noir’s software, case stories, puzzles, documentation, artwork and branding. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to play the content you are authorized to access. You may not resell, redistribute, copy substantial portions of, or reverse engineer the service except where applicable law permits.
6. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the game available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. Maintenance, technical issues or circumstances beyond our control may affect access. Features and these terms may change; material changes will be communicated through the service. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
7. Suspension or termination
RooksBiz may suspend or terminate access for a material breach, non-payment, a security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. We will act proportionately and provide notice where appropriate, unless immediate action is needed for security or required by law. Suspension does not remove any refund or consumer rights you have under applicable law.
